Gays in professional sports - why arent they looking out for the straight guys?
This crap is getting on my neves badly. I mean this is utter bull$hit when you are on the other side of the fence as a normal straight guy.
As a former life long football player, I would be PISSED to find out than I was showering with a person that could see me as a potential sex object not being gay. Think about it - if you allow gays to be in professional sports where men must shower and locker together then why not just let women in as well to the showers? If a gay man is in there - I know they will never admit it - but you DAM WELL KNOW he is going home and beating his meat to the thoughts and images of some of his team mates he gets to see in the showers and locker rooms. This pisses me off to no extent. This is thier JOB not thier hobby sport of choice. If they allow this kinda crap then let "us men" go shower with the ladies too! I mean from a sexual orientation perspective there is no difference - a gay man will look at another man just as if a normal man would look at a woman in the showers and in the locker room. When you go to work are men allowed to go into the womens bathrooms to catch a peek? If you did I am sure you would be fired for sexual harrasment - now why the hell are we allowing gays to do this to unsuspecting men so the gay guys can go rub one out later at home dreaming of the men he gets to watch in the showes. This can really be a nuke if gays come out in sports and "we" are forced to accept them into the showers and locker rooms.
The day is not far off after this when twinkle toes makes a comment to a guy in the showers about how nice his teammates a$$ is and gets his neck broken and or even worse killed. Dont put straight men in this position. Gays in our society is forcing this upon us to have thier visual feeding frenzy just as a pedafile would have with small children in swim class! Its not right! You know how many stories you have heard about the pervert male coach being caught in the girls showers or locker rooms. This is the same dam thing; a gay man wants to bang butt holes - and he gets his jollies looking at other men - not women. Make the gay men shower with the ladies which would be fair and then lets see how well this whole gay boys in sports political $hit will last. |

I'm wondering why there's even a conversation about sports & someone's sexuality. By forcing this issue on people that would have otherwise not really cared about what should be someone else's private matter they cause resentment and anger. If you're a homo - fine. Just keep it to yourself. I don't go around forcing people to accept that I like to roll around with Swedish women that practice Brazilian waxing and have D sized cans.:jump:

It's a myth that professional athletes shower together. They pay their athletes millions of dollars a year and you don't think they have at least their own private shower areas or even a shower curtain?

No, I made it up on assumptions and made it sound like I knew for sure to give myself credibility. I know that my high school locker room had private locking stalls for the showers, so I assumed an organization with about a billion times the money would be able to afford a wall or shower curtains. If they do decide to resolve the problem by putting up shower curtains, just remember you heard it here first. :D

I'd be blushing.:giggling: I don't see anything wrong with it just as long as there is no physical attempt or blatant cock gazing. My sons and I enjoy bathhouses in Japan and we walk around the resort as God created us. Kinda neat flopping around freely strutting around like John Travolta. I'm always aware that there are perverts and homosessuals, but just as long as they keep to themselves, I won't be pullin any cords from their sockets. :D |

Look at what it's like for the athletes to have pecker-checkers around.

I hear ya and I totaly respect it - but remember its you that gets to make the choice.
And you are saying you dont mind that a man dreams about bending you over and ramming you eh? Me? hell no I am not down with it. And if I know I am in there with a gay guy he will get yanked and made to wait outside till I am done. In my days playing ball a gay man (if went public) would have never made it.... we had our ways of getting rid of the weak and weary. On a pro level its totally different - you are there to do a job and thats it. But you cant get in your clothes and or your car without taking a shower after a game if you would think "I will just skip the shower until I get home". There is so much therapy that goes on and un taping and dealing with turf burns, pulls, strains, injuries and whirl pools, massaging that you are pretty much naked 75% of the time you are in there after a game. Or just in a towel. Until you are in that situation i guess you would know what I mean. And I dam sure know no one would have the balls to come out while in college! Thats for dam sure. Him coming out now in the pro arena gives him a chance to put a wedge in the public eye where as "we must accept it". The worst part of it for me is that if we as a society accept this now - the schools will follow and gay boys dont need to be getting thier jollies on other boys in school. Young men are too young and out of control hormone wise that they can barely keep thier diks in thier pants as it is with the girls - now throw a horny lil fag in there and lets see how you like the idea of a fag rubbin one out thinking and watching your son naked every day in gym. Its not a nice thought and no one is arguing for any common sense or morality here. Only about how we need to accept gays.. what about us straight people? and our kids? Quote:

And girls too. I would think that the gay ratio's would be raised in female sports. But my gyms have always had curtians at the very least. But we did undress in front of eachother in the locker room.
We had this girl on the field hockey team, tall, blonde, flat, real bean poley, kinda looked like Tom Petty, who was most probably gay. We actually called her Tom sometimes and I would frequently belt out "stand my ground and I won't back down" lyrics on the field "Don't back down Jen!" unbeknownst to her. She was nice though and we really didn't care, if anything we purposely and naughtily flaunted our nakedness.:giggling: But to me, men are worse because they are aggressive and have weapons. I would be pissed if I had to shower with a guy. |
