Can trade my 06 (head problem in shop now) base unit for 07 ADV package with small increase in payment.
should I stay slate or go bolder. Is Adv really really gonna help I did crazy stuff in my base rig.....

Have the head fixed and trade it in for a V8 if/when it comes out. I think you'd be burning $$ if you traded it in w/only 15k miles on an '07 when I'm pretty sure a V8 is going to be coming out before your warranty is up. I'm planning the same thing - trade up, but to the V8 in 1 month/year/decade whenever it comes out...

I read this forum a lot but I don't remember seeing ANYTHING OFFICAL as to the release date, CI, HP, torque, color or sex of the V8.

Did I miss it...

have read a lot of rumors, i hopes, should be, could be (even some i posted in jest)

07 with the new door panels, roll over bags, roof lights, sunroof, and adv. package will be mine in a few hours. payment went up $73.00 a month so I will have to watch my play money. F it we all gonna dies someday anyway right?

Thanks.... I could go bolder gray for 30 bucks less but no roof or lights.

I hope the 2007 goes well.

Did the service guy offer the trade or did a salesman come out to you? Nobody offered me a trade up when I was at the dealer.

I hope the cylinder head will fix the problem permanantly on the H3's.

When there is a major waranty issue like the engine what sort or deal do they make? Basicly you had a new car with a bad engine all GM's fault. Now you are paying $876/year because of a defective engine.

If you tried to sell it or trade it at another brand dealer they would knock a lot off the value

see my name. I got the inside skinny deal. i was a Mgr and buy way below invoice. loss on my trade is 1,500 but they have rebate and some funny money to make up for it.

Nice, I was going to do the same thing as I got a sick deal on my 06. I could trade it in(its paid for) and then have a fully loaded 07 for ~100 bucks a month.

I decided to wait to see a new model Hummer

I tried to trade mine in for the same reason. Mine had 37,200 miles and they wanted $12,760 to trade up to an 07. That was too much for me to swallow!
I did get an 100,000 mile warretny on the engine for FREE! So maybe I'll be OK.

Look for the next deal, they had 2k rebate and I got a mailer for 500 off.
I also get supplier from my work. let me know if you try again, I'll help ya.:jump:
