Yet another use for the front hitch! :)
Well I had to tow a UHaul trailer and get my DRZ where I was going at the same time and ended up running out of room in the trailer and also had nowhere to tie the bike down inside the trailer anyways so i used the hitch rack I made for the rear up front. I had to drill a vertical hole in the hitch mount thingy but other than that it worked out well. I did end up getting where I was going after dark and my headlights were blocked ALOT but it was all freeway and I made it to where I was going :).
Its fine during the day and I got a LOT of looks hahaha. ![]() |

Weld Evo wheels. Be ready to spend some money!! The truck looks killer. For some reason I can't stop thinking about the Beverly Hillbilly's:giggling:

Re: Yet another use for the front hitch! :)

Re: Yet another use for the front hitch! :)
Looks good.
What brand of carrier is that? What is the rated capacity? I need to figure out how to transport my HP2 on the SUT. It weighs about 450 lbs. |
Re: Yet another use for the front hitch! :)
Your rig looks great. That is a perfect proportion of rim tire and lift.
|
Re: Yet another use for the front hitch! :)
Thanks everyone for the compliments. I am very happy with the way the lift/wheel/tire combo worked out. I knew what I wanted for it before I even bought my H2. :)
Htothe2 - I don't have more pictures handy but can take some if you want them. Vettster - I built it myself. I tried to use one that a buddy of mine bought one time in the back and when I put my bike on it, it wobbled sooooo much I didn't even bother trying. So, I built one myself that would be more stable and it worked out. I don't know what the rated capacity would be but it holds my DRZ just peachy! :) |
Re: Yet another use for the front hitch! :)
i would like to see how far down the road you wuld get like that over here and how big a fine you would get great rig though love the wheels

Anyones guess on the cost of that rim setup? |
Re: Yet another use for the front hitch! :)
