H2 Attention (new Owner)
 

I've been reading this forum for the past month as I was thinking of getting an H2. I finally got one 2 weeks ago and can't beleive all the attention it gets. I was nervous after reading several posts about vandalism and the H2 haters out there but so far nothing but compliments. I even had an 85 yr old granny exclaim "Nice Hummer" at the grocery store. So yesterday I'm coming out of the mall and I see some suspicious looking dude around my truck. I'm about 200 yds away as I parked as far away as possible and thinking here we go with the bullsheeet. He starts taking pictures of the side, front, and back but I'm to far away to see if he's giving it the FUH2 pose. So he walks away and gets in his van and notices that I'm walking towards the truck and he looks real nervous. So I do a walk around and everything looks fine, get in the H2 and pull up right behind him so he's blocked in. He gets out of his van and comes over and says that he's sorry but he is from France and loves cars and likes to photograph them. I said do you mind if I see the pics as they were on a digital camera. This guy had about 100 pictures of Ferrari's, Jaguars, H2's and the like so he was telling the truth. I told him that some people out there hate the H2 and is why I was concerned he did something to the truck. With a heavy French accent he say's "What F-N Azzholes".

My wheels and tires are finally coming in on Monday so I'll post pics after I get em on.

Congrats!!!!! I had the same deal with a bunch of TOURISTS from New Zealand. I let them all take pics Sitting in my Rig. They were so PUMPED!!!

LOL! It's funny, you see so many on them on the road, you'd figure the newness had worn off by now. I had that with 2 teenagers from Mexico - I had just walked out of the store to see them doing various poses in front of my truck (macho guy stuff, nothing like FUH2). I waited until they were done, they were having too much fun to let them know it was a chick truck. :)

Just kidding...it's nice to hear how the story ended up...it ws reading like it was a bad news scenario.

Where are you in NC? I'm visiting my Brother in Charlotte in April / May.

Hey you better watch your trucks pics don't show up on Ebay or other car sales sites. It is becoming more and more common for idiots to take pics of peoples cars trying to pass them off as theres. It would be kind of funny though to see someone else selling your truck.:confused:
