I'll have to check it out regarding details on the filming, but the original movie was filmed with Canon XL1 series cameras with prime lenses (mini DV format) and no one knew the difference.

It would be cool if they did that again.

I thought that the sequel was called 28 Weeks Later?

I watched it yesterday and thought that the movie should have been left where it was. It had a great ending. This looks to be a horrible attempt at milking the franchise. I would love to see a movie concentrating on the cleanup and recovery after such a disaster, but then they take it too far. I do not think that the actors really do much to help, either. I roll my eyes when I hear the "kill everybody" quote in the trailer, it just SOUNDS like he's reading a script.

Despite this, I almost feel drawn to the movie to see if it will be as horrible as the trailer makes it appear. I am keeping my fingers crossed.

I am still waiting for Road of the Dead, the sequel of Dawn of the Dead/Land of the Dead that is apparently in the works. I love that franchise.
