I'm thinking about purchasing a programmer for my H2. Just wanted to know which ones to look at and how well they work.

Granatelli or Super Chips or the Whipple Programmer... They are all about the same...

Do you feel they are worth the money?

is it possible to use someone elses programmer, and split the price?

It would be nice to share one but no one else i know drives a 6.0L. I'm going to be changing out my tires to 37's during the hunting season then back to 35's in the spring and summer. I know the speedo will be off some and dealers wants $75 to re-calibrate. I just figured i could by my own, and after a few tire swaps it would pay for itself as well as giving me the chance to boost HP and performance.

FYI. I had a programmer for a Suburban and it was only good for one vehicle. If you tried to program another it would tell you it had already benn used. The only way to use it on a second vehicle was to have it unprogram the first vehicle and then program the second. I believe it was a hypertech programmer.

Oh that was very smart of them.
