I wonder how much it will cost ,and how long it will take the general to work out the bug's. I would have prefered the full power time proven 6.6 with pushrods .an overhead cam 4.5 with the buyer as the ginypig might be frustrating.I will take a wait and see aproch on this one .in the past it takes one or two model years to fix the bug's on a whole new design engine.

But by 2010, what will you have to "cheat" or remove. The current particulate filters are hindering the real perf gains. I know there are some gains to be had, but you probably will not read about 150+ HP programs like you can in the 01-06 era of chevy's.....

Just a thought but, when the H2 does come out with diesel I wonder if cost is going to be such that it would pay to go ahead and do a conversion with the 2WD or 4WD select as well as the 6 speed Allison tranny. You can get 400 to 500 HP with 800ft. pound of torque now.

Just me but, think I would make the upgrade before waiting another 4 to 6 years for something I could have now and at some reasonble cost as well.
Depending on where You take it and how much of the cost is just paying for the name of the company who did the conversion.
