OEM Crossbar Lightbar w/ sunroof.

I just bought 2 new crossbars to make a lightbar for my SUT. I had planned on using the OEM design crossbars for apprearance reasons.

My problem: The front cross bar that will hold the lights sits above the sunroof at the front. After driving around I have decided I do not like this...it makes the roof seem more closed off.

Possible fixes:

remove the sunroof shield and push the crossbar all they way forward. Not sure how this will effect the wind....I have not had the roof closed since I bought it.

Buy another brand that has a smaller bar like the limited editions or EXT bars. Not sure if this is an option.

What have other done?

Thanks

I have 4. The front bar is all the way forward. The next bar is spaced 5.75 inches from the first. The others are 5.25 inches apart. This gives as much space as you can get for the sunroof. I got rid of the wind deflector (too noisy). The bars cover some of the sunroof space, but it really doesn't shrink the sunroof size like you would think. It's also cool at night to see the marker lights reflect off the front bar. Not great for using the tilt function of the sunroof, but great in any open setting.

WOW! I had not consider 4 bars....Looks cool...I really like the painted grill on your truck. I'm also considering this change.
