My CCW class starts in about 11 minutes. Looking forward to a nice full day of stupid people asking stupid questions. One idiot was already asking why you can't bring a concealed weapon into a police station...:twak:

Good morning/afternoon.:)

I woke up in the middle of the night and went back to bed an hour later, I am tired and felt all disoriented this morning.:yawn: :confused: :D

Going to BJ's (Like a Costco or Sams club) a little later, hopefully grab some good meat to grill or roast later. Went to the beach all day on Friday and got a little burnt so won't be doing too much outside midday.

Gonna try to watch "Ice Road Truckers" tewnite!:dancingbanana:

Do you have to take a class to get your permit in your state? We dont here. What are you going to carry? Glock 17 here with Trijicon night sights.

Yeah, it's an 8 hour class. VERY boring so far. I think most of the people in here would actually look forward to shooting someone. I just got a Glock 39...the compact .45 GAP. Just got the Trijicon's on last week. Looking forward to the shooting part of the class today....I'm betting someone gets injured.

Contemplating baiting my backyard with several large hams to see how many alligators I can lure in. It's supposed to rain a lot over the next month but more specifically the next 3 days should be the worse. Only problem is buying the hams without getting reported. Ever since Nip/Tuck, ham sales have been monitored in FL like any type of ephedrine elsewhere.

you will love the Glock. I've got two 17's and my wife carrys a 26. I've ran about 5000 rounds through the 26 and only one jam when my wife limp wristed it. The other two have about 1000 rounds between the two of them. If you are going to carry for protection, they are the gun to carry.

I've got a Para 45 with about 400 rounds through it and its not reliable yet. i've done some polishing on the feed ramp etc and havent been out to the range to try it yet. Para told me it needs about 700 to 800 shot thru it before it becomes reliable....was suprised about this since i am used to the glock out of the box reliability...

We might have someone coming over this afternoon to finally buy the fridge/freezer that's been in the garage since we've moved in. We have that, a 5 piece bed set, a kitchen table set, a washer/dryer and a drafting chair out there. We can't put in built-ins until all that stuff is gone. It's been on Craigslist for 2 weeks now with a lot of calls but more flakes than anything. Keep your fingers crossed.

My 19 boxes of raised bed systems are still in the port cochere. 50% chance of rain today. Grrrr.....

Ice Rd Truckers and strawberry cheesecake tonight....yay!

Worked on the jetski a bit today, after a bit of carb tuning I spent the day on the lake. Its was about 85 here today so I figured I may as well go and terrorize the sailboats and try and out run the cops.

Finally finished with my class. One genius scored 8/25 on the shooting qualification...It's the same guy who asked "if I shoot someone, and it turns out they weren't going to hurt me, can I get in trouble?"
