Leveling Kit or torsion bar crank?
 

I was wondering from everyone's experience what is the best way to go about raising the front end of my H3 to allow for 35in tires. Should I install a leveling kit, or should I just crank the torsion bars? What are the pros and cons for each and will either seriously effect ride quality?

Save your money and do what MOST everyone on here has done. CRANK THE TORSION BARS !!!Theres enough proof on here that it does look good and it works and drives great and long term its still good. Tires dont wear that bad. Just keep them rotated every 4.000 miles and you will ok !

to get 35s you dont have to crank much. im at 2-3 turns with 35 open country mts and im very satisfiend with it. you might even get by with no turns,not sure.

Thanks guys, I think that is way I was leaning toward anyways. BTW, that won't void any warranty will it?

I am running BFG Mud T/A 315's (`35's) on stock rims with no turns. Slight rub on full left steering lock (inside of right tire rubs the sway bar). I am waiting on SAW T-bars and will give them a few cranks. I'll see if it still rubs when I lift the front end. If it still rubs, maybe adjustable sway bar links can move it a little bit to avoid the rub and still keep the sway bar in "spec." No use even looking at it until my T-bars get here, though.

any adjustment to the drivetrain may cause a warrnety issue but is very unlikely unless their is alot of abuse. very rare!

now the only question is whether to go with the BFG all-terrains or the mud-terrains. I've had the AT's in the past and they worked great in everything but deep mud. I really like the look and capability of the MT but I wonder about the practicality and tread life vs the AT. Any suggestions?
