Anybody else getting wordy PMs from Steve - SanJose?

Can someone shut this guy up? I get like 10 of these every day:

So you have to consider a lot of different factors when making mods to your vehicle. Most people start with bigger and more trail ready tires such as A/T or M/T tires form 30" to 33" tires and wider rims like 15x7 or 15x8. The bigger the tire your power will decrease and gas mileage will decrease as well and your speedometer will be off too. But you will get more ground clearance, more tire to ground contact, and better stability off road.
The next thing to consider would be BODY ARMOR. Body armor is very important if you want to keep you vehicle in one piece. So where is it needed? You have five main places you should consider protecting if you are 4 wheeling. The first is the front 2 skid plates. It is highly recommended that you get stronger skid plates for this area. This area will take a beating when 4 wheeling. Custom skid plates run anywhere for $150.00 to $300.00. I would recommend a 1/4" aluminum skidplate. A aluminum skidplate will be much lighter and almost as as strong as a steal skidplate. If you made a steel skidpate the same strength as a 1/4" aluminum skidplate it would be too heavy.
The next place to consider protecting is your rocker panels. This is the area just below your doors. This is a very crucial area to protect. When maneuvering over large obstacles you want to go over them with your tire, but if the obstacle is bigger than the clearance on the side of your vehicle it WILL damage your rocker panels. If you have rock guards then you can literally slide over the obstacles using the rock guards and not compromise you vehicle. Rock guards cost anywhere between $100.00, if you can do the work you self or up to $350.00 or more.
Next is the front and back bumpers.

Tonight, upon arriving to the casa, I noticed that Steve was parked at the end of the block waiting.
I think he is a secret stalker.:)

I know what you mean. I was chatting on the phone with him the other day. You know how it goes... he goes on and on and on, blah, blah, blah. Then I noticed he was actually talking to me from his car, out on the street. Weird.

Yeah, we were talking about our formitive years in school and out of the blue I got this garbage from him:
Quote:

The most illustrious student Mr. Hand had in philosophy was me, because my beautifully written dialogues not only offered an admiring account of the teachings of my master but also provided me with an opportunity to develop and express my own insightful philosophical views. In the remainder of our readings from Mr Hand's dialogues, we will assume that the "Me" who speaks is merely a fictional character created by the author, attributing the philosophical doctrines to Mr. Hand himself.

In the middle and late dialogues, I employed the conversational structure as a way of presenting dialectic, a pattern of argumentation that examines each issue from several sides, exploring the interplay of alternative ideas while subjecting all of them to evaluation by reason.

I'm a more systematic thinker than Mr Hand had been. He established his own school of philosophy, the Pot House, during the Fourth Period, and he did not hesitate to offer a generation of young dopers the positive results of his brilliant reasoning. Although I shared Mr Hands interest in ethical and social philosophy, I was much more concerned to establish his views on matters of metaphysics and epistemology, trying to discover the ultimate constituents of reality and the grounds for our knowledge of them.

If Steve is banned for his long epistles and posts. Some of his philosophies and detailed explanations of complex automotive precepts will be sorely missed. Until it was learned that Steve was hiding a Porsche in his garage. His rants were excused. Since understanding he has been harboring post neo nazi equipment in his domicile. Many in the Forum community. Mostly burly UAW dues payers have decided Steve must be muted! Farewell my verbose friend. There is hope in the Auto Union Deutsch Industries forum for you.:grouphug:
