Towing a H2

Can you tow H2 and put the transmission in neutral and the transfer case also! I'm in N.C. and just purchased a Kodiac truck and need to bring my baby back to Ca. U-Haul said it was to heavy to put on there trailer! Da! Oh well any ideas?

Re: Towing a H2

push the button with the 4 and the arrow pointing up and the button with the 4 and the arrow pointing down at the same time. hold them in for about 5 seconds and a red light will come on indicating that the tranny is in neutral. Make sure you are either hooked up to the towing vehicle or the parking brake is on BEFORE you do this or the truck will roll away or into something......

There is a lot more to it than pushing a couple of buttons! lol

You need several things!

All the stuff you see here, (tow bar, Towing kit, wiring, And a Braking system....And a couple other items depending on tow rig!

I Bet! lol, nice unit! :clapping:

I've been running the RoadMaster for Five Years!

I mentioned most Items you will need--Except a Pro to do the Install.

BlackHawk TowBar
Offset receiver
Proportional Air Valve, (mh air system) for brakes
Towing kit, plus Drag chain extenders
Seat adapter for BrakeMaster and BrakeAway

Have fun! :D

I am getting a Roadmaster towbar with the rv, but need to get all the brackets for the H2. I have a slightly:giggling: dinged Warn bumper and winch setup. Should be interesting to see about getting those on.

Going to the Hershey show next month. Maybe I can get a deal.

Thank you for all your good and some:twak: answers they are all great! The best way I got it home was my wife drove it back while I headed to the salt flats in the kodiac!
