For you that Pray!

I need your prayers... Actually my father does.
On Sept 17th while I was at the Skate Park working, I got the call that my father was very very ill and had a heart attack. Turned out that his Aorta had torn at his heart and that by the time I would get to Alex Hospital in Northern VA from Cocoa Beach FL he would not be alive if he doesn't have an emergency operation. I spoke to him while in route to Orlando airport to catch the next plane any plane out to DC and he had told me that he was not goig to have it done, that he is 81 years old and had a great life and then he said "I love ya son" My father has very rarely said those words (its not manly) in his world to say that, and then said good bye.
By the time I got to the Hospital it was 1am and thinking the worse all the way up, I was suprised to be informed that he is in the middle of the operation and by the time it was done 8 hours later (4am) he was in the worse condition that the CCU had ever had. One week later he comes out of the sedation and is making a recovery. Some major problems have occured and some have been cleared.
Fast Forward..... I have flown up several time since then to check on him and to help my family. Now, I am driving up to stay awhile because he has stoped all treatment and is refusing to eat or have the feeding tube put back in (he took it out himself a few days ago). He is getting worse and I would like to ask this of you, that do Pray. Please say one for him. I need it, he needs it, my Mum and Sister needs it.

Thank you so much for letting me just vent and ask this favor.

This is the same thing that happened to me, except that when I was in the ICU, they called a code blue on me because I went into respiratory arrest. My aorta dissected from the arch all the way down to my iliac bifurcation. If you have any questions, please feel free to PM me. And your whole family will be in my prayers.

Wow wayne, thats a tough one, I hope the best for you and yours.
My thoughts are with you. I send my energy.

Having a mom that just died of cancer and having a father that has been deathly ill the last year, I have learned and seen that sometimes they know what is best for them, enjoy your pops every minute of the day, be positive and hang in there.

praying and hope the best for you guys. Hope everything turns out okay, let your father know that you guys really need him, help keep him strong. My grandfather was alsonot doing well around my birthday time in February, my mom kept telling him every day tat my birthday is (enter number) of days. Several days after my birthday he passed away. I am as well my family convinced that this helped keep him strong until after my birthday it gave him a will to stay well a little longer.

Wayne, although I don't know you, I know how you are feeling. My Dad passed away 2 weeks ago. He was my friend, my confidant, my business partner....and most of all, my Dad.

My prayers are with you and your family at this difficult time.

You all are in my prayers.
I only hope that you dad had a wonderful 81 years, and that the remaining time here is peaceful and comfortable for him and his family.
