08' owners does it feel like the dash is closer to you?

I just can't seem to get comfortable in my 08' It seems like i am sitting too close to the dash, but i am not, as the seat is almost all the way back. I think they changed the dash and moved the whole thing back toward the driver a few inches(if not more) Any other 08' owners notice this?

nope I dont notice that. I think the interior is 5x better.

I agree. 5x better qaulity wise. But design wise i think it needs help. The clock is stupid, the temp and battery gauges are hidden by a cluster surround that is too deep, the steering wheel feels cheap and too thin. The old interior was different,and had that tough looking image to match the outside, this one looks like any other gm high end suv out there. Kinda plain. The interior in my 08' F-450 is way more creative than this. why did i buy it?...well it still is an H2!

I didnt notice that either. Actually it seems further away to me, probaby due to the lack of the dash bewbies which seemed like they were higher and further back.

I would up the 5x better to 10x better. I dont have those annoying plastic squeaks and rattles in the doors and dash like I did on the 06.

The fit and finish is so much nicer on the new interior and the feel of everything is that of a much higher quality. Sure the other interior screamed hummer....but I like the luxury of the new interior so much more.

Does it squeak (the plastic) like most pre-08's do? If not..then I'd say its an improvement.

not a squeak to be heard...could be due to the louder exhaust....LOL
