Stainless Lower Punch Grill
 

I was thinking about adding the stainless lower punch grill (cover) and the little hummer letters to my front end.......it's bone stock now....Anybody had any bad experiences with this?

I bought the HUMMER letters, but not the lower punch grill (yet). Be careful if you buy them from eBay. Originally I bought the letters that are domed and not flat. I was dissappointed in the domed ones because of lots of tiny air bubbles in them. Seller would not give me a refund. So, I bought the flat stainless steel ones instead and they look good on the bumper.

I have the SS flat letters on there for 2 years now ,no problems
I dont like the lower grill insert(Ok I guess if your a blinger :giggling: )

the 3M tape is not very strong. Water and other moisture will get in. I had a problem with this on both the letters and the stainless grill. Use some clear latex caulk to seal the letters (works great). I removed the stainless grill and it is sitting in my garage. I will sell it too you for cheap if interested. You are better off at getting some strong adhesive from Ace hardware and installing the grill , rather than the 3M tape.
