BEWARE H1 wheels

I recently ordered a set of new wheels for my 01 wagon from Predator and was very excited to get them. When the wheels showed up I was dumb founded on what I saw, they were cheap cast wheels that could probley not even support the weight of an H2. I was told these were a high quality one piece forged wheel that was rated at 4500lb per wheel. They also sent me a knockoff set of GT's CTI lines that are junk.So buyers beware, make sure you are very stern on what you want and except nothing less, hopfully my unfortunate situation can prevent any one else from becoming prey of the Predator

I got a brushguard for my H2 about 6 months ago from them. When I got it, I was surprised how cheap there stuff was. The brush guard has a nice "MADE IN MEXICO" sticker on it. Plus, to top things off it didn't fit very good and no hardware. :OWNED: My H1 will never even find out what Predator looks like. Predator is cheap overpriced CRAP. If you want parts go to RUBBER DUCK 4X4.:perfect10s:

Are we talking about Predator Motorsports? I ordered a heavey duty brush guard for my H1 from them . It was $400 and they said they had 4 too many and had to sell some to lower their inventory. It came as described and was a SMA unit in a SMA box and was built really well. Even the guys at Independence Hummer said it was an origional SMA unit because they own the jigs to start making them.I guess they must get somethings correct to stay in business. Just my 2 cents worth.

How long ago was that General? Predator's rep has really fallen in the last year, back in the day they made nice stuff. I think they have tried to expand their brand/product line very quickly (prices sure have not dropped) and quality has suffered. Customer services has also left alot to be desired, which was not the case four or five years ago.

It was last month. They were in their price list for $895 but had too many in stock so they sold 4 units for $400 plus free shipping to the first 4 customers. When I ordered mine they had one left. Surprised me of they quaility. So damn dry down here in the south ,at least something was lucky for me lately.

Which Brush Guard are you talking about? I looked at the website and didn't see one for 895...

Thanks, but I have dealing with a company by the name of Magnum-Offroad and these guy seem to really know their stuff, not to mention their service has been excellent. It also saved me alot of dough on shipping being as I'm in Cali.

Damn... too bad we lost some stuff when the forum changed servers. There was a nice little fight when I called Ernie(?) from Predator a liar regarding his horsepower/0-60/quarter mile times. He threw a hissy, dared me to come to Tes=xas or wherever he was from so he could prove he was right and then mysteriously he got quiet. Ahh, the old days. :giggling:

LOL :jump:

I love seeing some of the older stuff when Predator gets mad for others saying their stuff is made in Mexico. Very interesting that some of their products have "Made In Mexico" stickers......:OWNED:
