annoying rattle noise...
I'm hearing an annoying rattle noise coming from the rear of my H2 when I'm driving. It sounds like it's coming from under the cargo area. Does anyone know what the possible problem could be. I was thinking that the air compressor for the rear air suspension could be loose. Any ideas?

BUMP!!!
am i the only one having this type of problem? |
Re: annoying rattle noise...
I'm having the same noise, but it only comes in during acceleration. I thought it was related to some kind of heatshield. BTW, I don't have a compressor on mine.

I probably have the same rattle, but can't hear it above all the other rattles, creaks, and squeaks. LOL

Re: annoying rattle noise...
i have the same thing on my 03' just started recently though. on acceleration it sounds like a loose heat shield. what i did find the other day way the header heat shields are rotting away from the header bolts. i doubt this is the rattle i was hearing though. my rattle comes from under the front, or at least thats what it sounds like from the drivers seat.
i've asked my buddy to lay on the ground while i run him over so he could listen, but he said i was crazy??? what are friends for? trust between friends isn't what it used to be, huh.:beerchug: |
