So, I went to the Citizen website for a manual on a perpetual eco drive watch I have and it asks you to selct your country. USA, France, Sweden, etc.

When you click on USA it asks you to select a language. English or Spanish. Not kidding. USA English or USA Spanish. I didn't know we had 2 official languages now.

Were bilingual in every province but quebec. Their if you speak English in a business they call the language police. If you have an English sign bigger than the french one they call the language police again--think I'm kidding--guess again. In Ontario we also have the smoking police and not because their hot looking or working. You can only smoke outside at any establishment where their is no roof of any kind above your head, Exceptions are just one--any and all Government run Casinos. I don't smoke and I still find this ridiculous.:crying:

I say you better jump in fast and furious because this language crap is getting steadily worse. Are last four Prime ministers have been from quebec and they have been real uncle Toms. These Guys breed hatred and racism but call it language rights. It has cost us a fortune in bilingualizing everything. Every good job in the government goes to a bilingual idiot who only knows two languages and nothing else--except quebec of course where if you have any miniscule amount of English you can't buy a job. In Colorado you almost have to know it. Same as AZ, NM, TX, CA. It is the most common seond language taught in schools here. Tons of migrant types here, you know? It just makes it easier if you know the language. I think the reported stat is 17% hispanic in CO. Any those are the legal ones.

See this is the problem. We are catering to the non English speaking illegals. If we did not give them the choice to speak English, they would have to follow suit (to an extent). I'm sick to fuking death of going to an ATM machine and having to select a language, same goes for phone menu's, and the god damn labels on everything. I refuse to learn spanish off the principal that I will not make it easier for them to be here. Either you speak English or we're not talking, well not after I'm done bitching you out for not speaking English. :raar:

On another note, how the heck can the PQ even run as an elected body in a federal election when all they do is represent the interests of only one province?? Quebec would be begging for the rest of the country to take em back...sure we will...right after we invade em. I have no issues with Bilingualism, but we need to make it fair and equal for all Provinces.
