The 5.3 sounds cool. Thats the upgraded 305 V8 a proven performer and alpha standard. Do Like the fender flares and curious how the underbody protection differs from what is standard on a regular H3, but maybe not the alpha? Anyone know?...

Most don't come with the GM Underbody Protection and rock rails do they? I like the fender flares.

I believe only ones with V8's. Which should include special editions.

I have Gene, and I definately want to do it. I just have to wait for some warmer weather, can't really change door handles and mirrors in 20degree temps.

Love the fender flares. The only place I've seen them from before these was a nutjob company that wanted ten times too much for what they were so I never bothered.

Another thing... Is this right? I read that for all the hype, the Alpha is only 1 second quicker to 60mph than the I-5? Did I read this wrong?

defintly the I-5 0-60 times are between 10.8 and 11.2 seconds whereas the V-8 is 8.2 seconds. thats a difference of 2.6 to 3.0 seconds faster than the I-5
