Hummer Driving Academy

Has anyone done this? I've been looking at the site and it sounds pretty interesting. The Lodge looks very nice and maybe the wife could do the spa while we have a family Hummer vacation. If we decide to do this, I'll take pictures. I would appreciate any feedback from anyone that has done this.

That is about an hour from me. I've been down past the facility but havent ran through it. I've heard that the place has decent trails. The guy that owns 84 Lumber developed this. The spa is supposed to be 2nd to none.

I only know one person who has been there and loved it. They were treated very well, got lots of cool stuff. The got to ask the techs lots of questions. They learned their Hummer could do a lot more than they ever expected. There where taught a lot of techniques and a lot about recovery. It sounded like it was well worth it.

The only thing that might put a freeze on this is the whopping $3,000+ for the three days. Yes the vehicles are provided for you and you dont have to abuse your own. If i cant go to this one, i want to do the one that is south east of pittsburgh(Nemacolin's Off-Road Driving Academy) part of the resort. That sounds like a bargin and alot of fun and you can do a crap load of other stuff.

There are a couple on the board here that have gone, and have spoke well of it. Unless things have changed, it is only open to Hummer owners. They do provide the H2's, although you can use your own. It would be a great, albeit very expensive, way to learn the capabilities of our awesome ride. They do give participants lots of free kit like GPS's and Hummer clothing and pretty much wine and dine you.
