The anti-SUV enviro-nazis enjoy seeing American auto makers in trouble. Well, I love this. :giggling: :jump: :jump: :jump:

Re: STARBUCKS IN BIG BIG TROUBLE
There are 3 within walking distance to me, and a 4th with a drive thru is just opening up.

Re: STARBUCKS IN BIG BIG TROUBLE
like their coffee. I think they're a good employer. Whats not to like?
And if they close, there's always Dunkin Donuts. :) |

This was bound to happen. All the tightwad Prius owners have to spend their $5 dollar daily allowance on a gallon of gas instead of the Venti double shot iced soy mocha whip topped with colored sprinkles and a chocolate stick! Bet those wacko's are wishing they'd stayed at home instead of protesting ANWR now! :giggling: |
Re: STARBUCKS IN BIG BIG TROUBLE

Re: STARBUCKS IN BIG BIG TROUBLE
Hey, I love Starbucks and go there quite often. We have four now.

Re: STARBUCKS IN BIG BIG TROUBLE
I'm sure they won't close mine. They are always busy.

Re: STARBUCKS IN BIG BIG TROUBLE
They could close all 600 in Boston and no one would even notice. Last time I was out there I think they averaged 6 per block in the city. You know it's over-kill when you see two of them directly across the street from each other in the city.

Re: STARBUCKS IN BIG BIG TROUBLE
I hate starbucks, yes the coffee is good but i hate the people that think they are awsome because they think that drinking starbucks makes them look cool. Bunch of stuck up pricks is what most of the people who hang out at starbucks around here are. Coffee Beanery has better coffee anyways.

Re: STARBUCKS IN BIG BIG TROUBLE
This news struck me, since a) every Starbucks I've ever been to (and it's been a lot across the country) has been busy and b) their margin on cost of goods sold has to be through the roof.
How in the hell do you not turn a profit when you're charging $4 for a damn cup of coffee and you've got lines all morning waiting to buy? If that business model doesn't work, then our economy is screwed more than we realize. Thanks "Ethanol Lobby", you single handedly managed to F up the US Economy *and* starve the rest of the World. |
