My first Colorado fish

Well here she is. Got my first (of two) trout today from Chinn's Lake. No one on the lake was catching a thing. Then I busted out the lure that the old guy in the fishing department at Walmart said was a guarantee for trout.

He was right! My 2nd and 3rd casts with that lure yielded two trout. Then my line got all messed up and I lost the frigging lure. Didn't get a thing after that. I went back to Walmart at the end of the day and bought ever single one in stock. No, I'm not going to tell anyone which lure it is.

So...

I think we should go fishing when Lyn is here. Maybe Clear Lake on Guanela Pass. Something like that.
