I know Adam is bored...what is everyone else up to?

I'm in hiding again. Hubby is in a pissy mood all weekend, so I'm letting the toddler take the brunt of it. If he can't find me, he can't gripe and whine.

Spent all yesterday morning cleaning out the garden for the fall planting. My tomatoes and peppers are still doing well so I had to plan around them. Some things were easy to get rid of - lettuce isn't supposed to be 6' high. Cukes aren't supposed to be moldy. Ick.

Dogs have been on a murder spree lately. They got a baby skunk on Friday (oh yeah, that one was fragrant) and a baby armadillo this morning. The garbage guys are going to SO hate us come Thursday. It's only been a few days and you can't pay me enough to go to the side of the house where the trash bins are.

Have tried hypermiling in the Hummer lately. It's been interesting....got my MPG up to 11 from 9 by going 55-60 on the interstate. Also have been avoiding drive thrus (which is easy since I don't fit in many of them anyway) and doing slow starts. It's not much but hey, I'll take what I can get. I calculated that it costs me $8 just to go down the road to the grocery store. That's not cool.

Let's see, I just got up. Later we're headed out to World Market, we have to look for Rich a new laptop, and lunch. I also would love to get my hair cut today.

Not sure if we're grilling out tonight or eating out so can't comment on that yet.

Watched Shutter last night, not bad...not great but the ending did save it. I have the Asian version so I imagine that one is better. The Americanized Asian movies are never as good as the originals.

Need to wash the H2 too. Took it out in the boonies last week for a potential contract and it was muddy out there.

One of the twins found on of my sandals and ate it. Luckily it wasn't my new sandals. That's the kind of thing that happens when I sleep late.

Nothing. Relaxing. Had a gig lsat night. Private party in a guys back yard. All went well until we finished and 15 mins later, it began to pour!!! Most of the stuff was packed up but some stuff, amps, wires, got a bit wet. Drying out today.

Driving around today...$3.99/gal gas found! normally $4.19 - $4.29.

Cooked some London Broil and tomato slices on the grill. :clapping:
