wife denies new truck purchase; need advice
OK, last night I told to my wife that I'm considering to buy (or maybe lease) an H2, new or preowned, I'm not decided yet; I want to keep my H3 as well, at least for now. She freaked out like never before and snapped back at me really bad that I don't need that etc... what is the next step when this happens? What arguments to use? She pisses out about $10k monthly in discretionary expenses :raar: yet won't allow a bit of fun for me? Need help. Need good arguments.
Thanks!! |

Re: wife denies new truck purchase; need advice
Tell her you'll sell the H3, by the H2, then outrageously price the H3 on the for sale sign....
10K in monthly spending? I'd be looking for alimony from her.... |
Re: wife denies new truck purchase; need advice
Been down that road. See What they will give you on trade in for her? lol

Re: wife denies new truck purchase; need advice
First, I'd ask her to give back your dick...

Re: wife denies new truck purchase; need advice
you guys are great - YES, I figured that I shouldn't let it go that way; probably should get rid of wife if that's what it takes to get myself into the H2 cockpit :excited: I knew that I'm asking the right people....! Oh I like my H3, but H2 is, well, bigger better etc :) also...all the responses you posted are absolutely hilarious, I've been laughing now for well over an hour; good fun and I'm going to get the truck; screw the wife..she has been having too much fun lately, and I'm tired watching only...

Re: wife denies new truck purchase; need advice
Make sure you take her for a ride in it...
Have some red roses in the Hummer for her too:beerchug: Maybe some champange on ice as well:beerchug: |

yes, if she wouldn't like the ride, she's not worth keeping... good thinking to sweeten it up with roses and champagne- it could help...:dancingbanana: |

Give Drew Peterson a call? He's killed two or three already and has his sights on number 5, dude must be doing something right to still be pulling in young trim like that.

Re: wife denies new truck purchase; need advice
If she spends that much why ask her?
|
Re: wife denies new truck purchase; need advice
Go for it if you make enough money and that it doesn't cut into her spending. She shouldn't care. Also helps if you make more money than her.
Rationale doesn't work as well if she makes most of the household money and you are taking money out of her pocket. |
