Rear Tail light guard placement
 

Ok, so I have a set of used tail light guards...I know that they hook onto the H2 with the two screws that hold the tail light...but on the outside do they stick to the painted section right next to the outside of the tail light? Also how thick is the original 3M tape? I need to replace the tape....

Ours stick to the taillight on the plastic.
I would reccomend using a heavy duty 3M
tape as regular 3M tape does not hold up as well.

Yep, on mine the L section on the bracket sticks to the back of the plastic tail light. I used 3M marine double faced tape.
