As for the T-Case, not real sure. On Thursday me and my buddy James pre-ran the entire park like 4 times and beat the trucks up a bit. It was acting a little funny friday and then Sat afternoon I had no high gears. I will pull it out in the next couple of weeks to see what I did. We had 4 trucks get broke pretty good. 3 H1s and 1 H2. |

Re: Gray Rock 09 Pics
Cools pics, looks like fun. My plan was to be there, but obviously my plan did not work out.
What happened to the tie rod? Was is a Fabtech? The only person ive seen screw one of those up was KenP but for some reason he was trying to force steering into a boulder as big as his truck(this was not even an obstacle, just normal trail). |

Boss, Glad you like the pics, I had a fun time making/taking them. I knew something was wrong with my HUMMER after the second day on the trails because my steering wheel was out of line. For my rig to drive in a straight line, my steering wheel had to be turned to the 1:30 or 2:00 position. Actually, I just picked up my rig from the alignment shop. The tech told me that neither tie rod was bent, but I did have a few loose suspension parts (including a tie rod end) prob from the beating my rig took off road. Now that everything is tight again and brought back to within spec my H2 is perfect yet again. For all of you still debating about wheeling your HUMMER, take some advice from me: DO IT!!!! These trucks are so much more than mall queens and toddler transporters. Get out there and see for yourself what your HUMMER is capable of..........:D |

Lol, its not too hard to knock the alignment WAAY off in a hurry. I agree what you say about wheeling. If you dont do it, you are certainly missing out on an experience. I have ingrained some great memories in my kids that they will carry with thim all their life. |
Re: Gray Rock 09 Pics
Forgot to mention, its not a bad idea to check the Fabtech tie rods from tiem to time. I know a couple of people, including myself, who have had the tie rod come completely off  . It happened to me driving on Trail 1 at Tellico which is just a long windy mountain road with BIG drop offs.

Thanks for the advice!!! Even though I have a spare set of tie rods on the way anyway, I still plan on getting an alignment after each time I go off road. My alignment shop is extremely thorough so I would expect them to catch any noticeably failing suspension component before it creates a problem. I guess anything that slips by is par for the course. It pays to have as many spair parts as you can :jump: |

Hey I agree with you but this happened on the way to the first(real) trail so its a good idea just to quickly check to make sure the bolts are tightned before hand. I had spares in the truck but they did not me as i gave it everything I had to keep from going over the side of the mountain:eek: |
