Uh Oh, that looks scary... Lets go for it, the Isuzu Vehi-Cross has my back!
![]() Damn Florida sugar sand and the bottom ruts... ![]() And out comes the Tow strap... ![]() This is why I keep telling my wife that I NEED the lift and 37" tires! |
Where is that?

JW Corbett Wildlife Management Area... It is a pretty remote area that very few know about and we only saw 1 other vehicle last Sunday. Here is a little writeup about the area.

Were you stuck in the sand or did you drown the engine? It seems that you should be able to get a lot deeper than that before you shut down the engine.
|
Looks fun. Is there a lot to do there, and do you go there often? Know of any other places like that in the area?

Just got high sided on the hump in the middle. The engine was never shut off and I went through alot deeper waterholes throughout the day. Of course, the only time I had to get out and take pictures was when I got stuck ![]() There are alot of trails there and there is a map available at the entrance, but as soon as rainy season starts, it gets VERY deep. I do go there alot because it is only 5 miles from my house. Ocala near Orlando is the only other place I've been to in Florida. |

So you know where to go in Ocala? We are trying to find trail info but not having any luck so far. Looks like you had some fun Sunday though. |

In Ocala I found alot of trails that shoot off from around the 5 mile square "bomb site". I played there for a couple of days when I first got the H3. I just got a local map at an Ocala gas station and started driving! You can start at this link... http://www.fl4wda.com/ |
Will have to try just heading up there. Did you find some challenging trails while you were there. I know I have seen some pics of trail rides up there that actually had rocks in them. I was shocked, didn't know there were any rocks in FL

picture makes it look like you had one hell of a radiator leak. Looks like fun.
