05 H2 Front Diff

What other GM front diff will fit an H2. I am doing a diesel conversion and want to go to 2w/4w drive. Will 1500 series pickup fit?

The front diff is specific to the H2. The housing has different bracket locations than the typical GM 2500 Series truck. Also the h2 has a 4:10 gear ratio. I do not think that ratio is available in other GM trucks??? I thought most of them had a 373:1??

Correct, housing is h2 specific, gears can always be changed with jobber prts though

If your doing a conversion you can use the oem front diff. Once the tcase is unlocked you will have 2 wheel drive just wont have an axle disconnect
