I bought just the grill guard light brackets from Adventure Accessories to mount a pair of Hella 4000s. Worked great with just some slight mods.

MisterEd:
Could you tell me a little about what "mods" you did? I'd love to mount a set of Hella 4000s, but always assumed they were too large. So I'm "settling" for a set of PIAA 580s ![]() |
anybody out there dabbled with KC 150 Daylighters on the grille guard???
unaslob Corsa Sport exhaust(offroad 'tip'), Gobi rack w/ lights & w/roof mounted tire w/ ladder, Warn Winch with rear power, Dual Wolo Airhorns w/ lanyard valve, Hadley Aircompressor 130PSI, 14" airtank, front and rear quick disconnects for air, Cobra 75 WX CB, Dual 4' Firestik fiberglass whips, front tinted windows, 7" Homer Simpson decal (teehee)! |
Just my opinion, but any KC light is going to look like ca-ca on the H2.

That looks cool, Ed. You got more pics? Grille painted? What's the roof rack?

I've posted a few pics in the past.....black grill, Adventure Acc. rack, black, powder coated wheels, etc.
I like light kinda like you do so my DRLs are Cibies as well....next month comes the rack lights..... Thanks for the kind words!! Have a great turkey day!! |
MisterEd - Where did you find the Skull hitch cover at? Looks great!
|
Xplod........sorry for the delinquent reply but been traveling.....got the hitch off of EBay and have it wired so the red eyes come on with my drls....and the drls are "jumped" so that I can turn them on and off....
gain, sorry for the slow reply... Ed |
Hey, what beam pattern did you go with on the hella's??? I kinda liked the cornering vs the fog.
drty, you were right, those big chrome things did look bad, I dont have much chrome up front, but they are mighty powerful, that was what was attractive. MRED- what else did you have to do to the brackets??? unaslob Corsa Sport exhaust(offroad 'tip'), Gobi rack w/ lights & w/roof mounted tire w/ ladder, Warn Winch with rear power, Dual Wolo Airhorns w/ lanyard valve, Hadley Aircompressor 130PSI, 14" airtank, front and rear quick disconnects for air, Cobra 75 WX CB, Dual 4' Firestik fiberglass whips, front tinted windows, 7" Homer Simpson decal (teehee)! |

JamesT,
If you feel like changing grill guards I can mount the lights nearly anywhere you want them. ![]() ![]() www.h2ohummers.com |
On the subject of offroad lights if anyone comes across that thread on how to wire up and the lights would you please post it? I think it was one of Phil's threads.

H2O guy
A little off the subject but here it goes. Why don't you adapt the rear seat area so we can add another 1/2 seat on the driver's side. The other GM SUVs have them. You could use the Escalade seat and have it recovered in the H2 seat pattern. |
H2 Dadddy
Not sure I am following you. Are you referring to something similar to the already available full rear replacement seat. I have not seen the inside of the Escalade. Is there advantage to having it done this way over the one I mentioned above? www.h2ohummers.com |
Some where out there I have found a full coverage rear seat tht can be used when ou take out our spare.. On ebay I think.
