If you have one and it's quit working you can usually fix it. Besides the battery going dead, the conductive surface inside gets worn off where the rubber button makes contact with the circuit board. If this is the case then try taking a no2 lead pencil and rubbing it on the contact part of the rubber button. The lead is a conductor and I have fixed mine several times like this. There is a conductive liquid that you can buy....used to repair old syle TV remotes...but it's hard to find and very expensive.

My outside bits broke, bought cheap replacement parts, they broke and that is when I came across the complete OEM ones on ebay.
