Cigarette lighters active when h2 is alarmed?

I have a plug and play Sirius satellite radio that I use in my h2. It appears to always be powered when I set the alarm. Is this normal? Worried about battery drain when the h2 sits.... I am using the cigarette lighter outlet just below the fan controls....

Tnx,
Bob

My cigarette lighter ...2004 H2...seems to be powered on all the time. Don't think it has anything to do with the alarm.

We have a 2003 and what I can tell is that they are powered on all the time also.
We have had a dead battery problem if you leave an item plugged in for an extended amount of time.
Now we make sure we unplug everything every time we leave the truck.

Easy to fix though. You could rewire the one you want to an accessory line and would only power when key is on
