H3T, Canyon, or something larger?
I've been thinking about picking up a pick-up truck. I'm debating between the H3T and the Canyon (the idea of owning another Hummer is attractive to me...but the long wheelbase of the H3T seems to be an 'off-road' shortcoming compared to the Canyon.)
I'd like to have a bit of off-road capability, but I've got an H2 to cover most of that type of entertainment. I guess I'm mainly looking for something to haul sh!t that I can't put in my truck, but also want the capability to eventually tow the H2 to distant off-road sites. The towing specs for the Canyon and the H3T are similar...so I thought I'd throw it out to the Elcova masses to provide input. Maybe I should be looking for a full-size truck... Thoughts...feelings? Thanks in advance. |
Re: H3T, Canyon, or something larger?
I cannot believe being a hummer owner you are comparing a canyon and a Hummer :twak: . I owned a H3t Alpha and it will put any pickup truck in its range to shame for.
1- Comfort. 2- Towing. 3- Off-Roading :clapping: 4- Cool Factor 5- uhhhhhh....its a Hummer. 5- Canyons are not Hummers.:jump: Good Luck with your choice I hope its the right one. |

Full Size Pickup Truck.....may fit your needs better to pull the H2.
All I can say is Raptor - end of story:beerchug: |

Dude...you act as though I was debating between a HMC2 and a Canyon. The Colorado/Canyon rolled out of Shreveport, Louisiana just like the H3T and are very similar under the skin. They use a similar GMT platform (345 vs. 355)...same powerplant...similar towing capacity (~6,000 lbs.), etc. Ultimately, though, I think you're correct...full-size is prolly the way I'll have to go given that I may end up towing the H2 down the road. I looked at the Raptor...descent truck. I'm not as head over heels about them as I thought I'd be...the front-end components don't seem as 'sturdy' to me as they should be. Maybe I'm just used to looking at the more heavy-duty parts on 8-lug trucks. |

LOL :-) Point Taken. The Ford F150 is nice as well. The Titan and Tundra are also pretty nice. |
Re: H3T, Canyon, or something larger?
quit dick'n around and just get an old 99-03 F-350 with the 7.3L. That would tow the 2 whereever and whenever.
