Re: NEW MODS: TIE RODS/A-ARMS/KEYS/SPACERS.
what do you gain from the cognito arms with the already installed Rancho lift? Any driveline issues with the additional height, vibrations, etc.?
|
Re: NEW MODS: TIE RODS/A-ARMS/KEYS/SPACERS.
Yes I originally had a Truxxx kit, and was told I could not use it with the Rancho kit by my installer, they were wrong as I've seen a dozen plus Hummers combine the two. The Cognito A arms make it easier to align, plus they look pretty and allow you to run a shock hoop with bolting brackets to the oem upper a arms. No vibrations issues thus far.

Yeah! There you go Bimmer!
I noticed that you ended up painting your shocks and got rid of the red plastic cover right? Very nice!! I like it! Did you paint the rear ones too? |
Re: NEW MODS: TIE RODS/A-ARMS/KEYS/SPACERS.
I didn't paint them, they are the 9000's.. I just had them take the boots off.
