2" torsion lift kit

I'm thinking of doing a small 2" lift with the torsion lift kits on ebay. Is it too good to be true to get 2" for only $100? I have the air suspension so I'm thinking the back will raise by itself to level out. Do I need anything else?

You can get 2" in the front with the torsion keys, BUT I found the truck rides like crap with the keys cranked that far. I ended up going with the Cognito leveling kit with the UCAs and the Bilstein shocks...same lift, but with a factory ride; worth the extra $ for me.

The rear will not raise by itself to level out. most people who have airbags and want to raise the truck 2" or so switch to springs and add spacers. If you want to keep the bags youll have to jerry rig some spacers/adjust the air sensors location.

Since we are on the subject... maybe someone knows of an option for my situation too. Just updgraded to 40's, already have a lift, but am experiencing some rubbing in the front. Cranked the torsion keys up but still experiencing a little rubbing and not too thrilled about the stiffness of the front end. Are there any solutions for me here to get an extra inch or two without having to do a new lift kit?

Any pics out there of the jerry rigged air sensors? I'm leaning on keeping the air suspension. I did a search but couldn't find any.

I had the same problem, so I added a 2" body lift.

I ran the Truxxx keys and spacers and was very happy with the ride. I'd only put a Truxxx or Max Cam keys in my truck. No name keys that are cast may not be strong as OEM. I admit the Cognito UCA are nice, I actually have them... but never had a problem with just keys, some say the ride is harsh... but I'm used to stiff shocks in my Jeeps and Bimmers.

I am selling a ready lift torsion key kit which is better than that ebay stuff, it comes with front shock extenders. I have the ebay keys on my hummer and I dont care too much for it. I was going to install this but decided to wait and go higher with a fabtech 6" lift. Anyways its a little bit more money but a better product.

Any time you use keys or crank the T bars you make the ride suffer . :twak:
