AC not working right
Hi everyone.
I bought a 2005 H2 Black a few months ago. I tested the AC when I bough it and it was working perfect. Recently when I've tried it I've noticed it is barely blowing, almost feels like nothing, I can however feel the cold air. Also, you can hear a "tap" noise on the passenger side every 3 seconds or so while the A/C is on, soon as you turn off the AC the noise will stop. Any ideas? I ran the issue by a guy at a local auto shop and he said it might be the blower or some other part that "opens up" when you turn on the ac/heat. He also mentioned it's a cheap part ~10$ but it'd take 10 hours to take apart the dash (labor would be through the roof) |
Re: AC not working right
:UPDATE:
tried it again today and it came on full blast and cold. However, if I lower the fan speed below the top 2 notches then the fans stop blowing. Very odd... I wonder if it's some kind of issue with the climate control unit itself /shrug |
