Screw the lifetime warranty business. I learned that a long time ago when I was a teenager buying "Lifetime Warranty" parts from Auto Zone. That just meant that when they broke in less than 2 years you could go to the hassle of removing the part and replacing it, again, and having to swap it out for another POS part that you'll remove in two years.
I've gotten older and alot more willing to buy either factory parts, or known name brand stuff that I know will last.
Guess I just got tired of replacing the same parts. Most of them are just too damn difficult and time consuming to replace more than once.

I bought my last set from this company,
http://www.1aauto.com/1A/wheel-beari...er/H2/-/-/2003
I have 185,000 miles on mine and have replaced them twice, also am running 37" tires
quick shipping and pretty good prices, in fact just ordered a set of upper control arms from them

Re: Thoughts on this?

I researched front wheel bearings to death before narrowing it down to the Timkens or SKFs...neither of which offer a lifetime warranty but 12 months and the SKFs are rated at 100,000+ miles.

Either of these are going to be infinitely better than the $90 'Made in China' specials that may have a lifetime warranty but that you'll be replacing every 12 months.

I went with the SKFs at about $190 each off Amazon.

The dealer charged my warranty company $500, and no labor is NOT included that is the price of the single hub.
oh, and did I mention that was for just ONE hub?
