Ability to have headlights and day time on?
 

I was wondering if there was a way to have the Day time lights and the headlights on at the same time? I have an HID installed for the headlamps and would like to convert daytime to HID and have the ability to turn on when headlights are on as well. thanks

Here's the most extensive thread on the DRL mod, I did this myself (with the diode...described later in the thread) on my 05 and it's worked flawlessly for years.:

If you're adding in an HID kit to the DRL housing you'll eliminate the need for the diode mod since you'll have a separate switch for the HID kit.

Also, I'm pretty sure an HID bulb will burn the OEM housing up quickly if it even fits. Now that I think about it I don't think it will even fit.
