Wiper motor retrofit?
Has anyone attempted to fit a front windshield wiper motor and drive onto an older h2?

Re: Wiper motor retrofit?
not that I've seen, however I'm pretty sure I've seen many of these things for sale on ebay.

Giant,
Have you tried the Easy Ed fix? I assume you are having issues with the wipers not shutting off or working properly? |

Re: Wiper motor retrofit?
This is the easy ed fix
http://www.elcovaforums.com/forums/s...ad.php?t=29583 basically you water proof your winshield wiper motor so that no water gets in it and then you have the wiper gremlins turn on and run your wipers when you dont activate them |

Re: Wiper motor retrofit?
i wouldnt say i retro fitted a different model motor to mine, but i did buy one off Ebay (forgot model # and all) but it was only $100 as opposed to the $300 motor from the parts store.
it was an easy install... just made hard by the fact i did it when it was only 20 degrees outside.. cold hands, cold tools... been working like a champ since.. the old one would just made a horrible whining sound when used.. finally got tired of it. i did get the intermitent on/off thing a long time ago, but it only happened a few times.. i replaced it due to the noise. |
