I am relatively new to the Hummer world as I purchased a 2006 H2 about six months ago. Since I purchased the vehicle I have had an intermittent problem with my passenger side climate control. No matter what the temperature is set at, it blasts the heat on the highest fan setting. If I shut off the car and wait a few minutes, it often corrects the problem. Due to the intermittent nature of the problem I have been resistant to take it to the dealer in hopes that it will become a more regular problem. I just expect them to say "Nothing happened when we tested it". Anyone have a similar problem or any advice on how to address this issue?

That's a trip to the dealer. The control door that redirects the air can lose its index and the control can't tell if its open or closed.

Mine had the same problem, only I didn't have to wait between off & on. Pull over, shut off, quickly restart, go on my way. Irritating.

Thanks Dan. I will take it in. I just didn't want to have to convince them there was a problem. This problem is very irritating, luckily my girlfriend is cold most of the time.
