Gang,

Just wanted to take a few seconds of your time to introduce a new product offered to our forum members only at the H2 Source.

The GRANITE CENTER CONSOLE INLAY.

Add a touch of class and improve functionality of your center console with this inlay. Created by "Granite Customs," this inlay installs in seconds with absolutely no modifications. It simply fits but includes powerful double stick tape for a increased stability, if so desired.

This inlay is made of 3/8" actual granite and is offered in 7 colors.

Personally, I think it looks great and is a pretty interesting product. For more information visit:

Happy New Year to you all.

Regards,
Jason

Do you get a knife set and cutting board with that?

Joseph Muha 12-30-2004 01:49 AM

A cheese knife, some wine and you are all set.

thats dumb

Since my dogs like to take turns and sit up on the center console (they are in the 70-80 lb. range) I think it would be pretty funny to see them slip on the granite surface ...
nah, I think I'll just stay with the piece of rug I glued to the top.

KenP 12-30-2004 03:08 AM

Thanks for the heads up, Jason. That looks awesome. I have been thinking about things to put there to stop the wear and tear on the factory vinyl. That may do the trick.

NJ H2 12-30-2004 04:43 AM

Wow ... can you get that in Corian also?

MrX 12-30-2004 06:18 AM

So where can I get the matching granite seats and headliner?

I hear the optional granite wheels (from the Flintstones Mfg. Co.) are "run flats"!

Yet another intelligent post.

I'm not crazy about it. It looks cheesy and doesn't serve any useful purpose. I think some type of non-skid rubber mat insert would be more useful as you would be able to stow items there without them sliding around.

Patriot 12-30-2004 01:48 PM

Sheesh...next will be hardwood floors in the H2...or maybe some cheesy track lighting for the artwork you can hang??

Totally useless.....

Wheelin 12-30-2004 09:26 PM

How does this "improve functionality"? Does it gives stuff on it a better chance to vibrate and annoy the **** out of every one inside or does it allow it to slid off into the floor easier so it is not heard at all?

DennisAJC 12-30-2004 11:06 PM

Jason,

Does it come in a different color scheme? Good ideal as it is a step for my boys. But the color scheme is too light.

HummMe 12-30-2004 11:50 PM

Dennis click on the link there are a few more colors to choose from.

unaslob 12-31-2004 12:22 AM

i could just see it now.... my dog (yellow Lab) jumps in on my seat then to hops up on the center console and slides into the passenger seat and cracks her head.. funny but cruel.. it would cease all the dog nail scratches.

$175!!!!!!!! Jason, what are you smokin?!

As some of you may know, I'm a Marble & Granite Importer, and this is hysterical!

First of all, all standard size Marble / Granite tiles are 3/8" thick....so this is no big deal!

Second, a 12" x 12" tile will fit perfectly in there with a little trimming...if someone is tasteless enough.

How bout I sell you guys over 50 colors for $20 and give Jason a $10 kick-back.

I'm sorry, but I couldn't stop laughing after reading this thread.

$20 makes sence, not $175!
