Did anyone install a TV in the front by the radio? If you take out the radio the TV can take over the AM/FM tuner.Any pics?

I put a screen in my front flip down compartment. A 7" screen fits just right in there. I do have an overhead rear 9" flip down screen in the rear as well. My front screen plays what is playing in the rear. You can also use your front screen as a back up camera monitor as well as a TV/DVD.

White Beast, how did you mount the screen to your overhead console? I've been looking at doing the same thing but wasn't sure how to make it solid enough.

Humnet,

The back of that monitor has a slide rail attachment. Trick is to make it as tight as possible. I cut out some high density black foam(looks clean). and shaped it into a wide U.
This way you can wedge it in behind and bypass the wires and bracket. It covers the back quite nicely. Also keeps it stable.

But no matter how snugg it is, the monitor does tend to travel/slide down during moderate off roading. I`m thinking of mabye an epoxy drip on the back rail to lock it in place.

I want it to take over the radio. And no, im not going to the dinner. My parents might though.

SMOKES! That's the nicest set-up I've seen so far.

Phil,

Your boom box, is that custom? Did you just bungie that to secure? Me's mighty jealous .
