no but i do have off-road PIAA 520's. I was wondering if that could have caused it but i doubt it.

Just a thought, but I had this happen on my Explorer a few times, finally discovered that the key would stick a little past the "run" position and keep everything off. Bumping the key back into place would take care of it.
Never happened to my H3, but sounds similar. |

Happened to my wife once...

In July I put in an Optima red top 800 ca battery in the H3 before a driving vacation to the Northwest, the very next day when I started it up the odometer mileage disappeared for about 2 minutes and came on while I was driving, this never has happened again and I chalked it up to changing batteries or maybe it was PFM in test pilot lingo(pure f**ing magic).
