Some pictures from a quick outing on Saturday for a much needed AFK break.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Of course the pictures never do the incline justice. The last two pictures are of a steep uphill climb. I have had the truck in several situations where we had it rock pretty good but for a second this weekend, I thought we were about to roll it. Coming up this hill, the back end lost traction and spun a bit getting us a little sideways. Pulling up onto the next ledge, which was about 1.5 feet tall, the back end slid around a bit more. As the truck pulled forward, it pitched pretty hard and you could feel the drivers side of the front end come way off the ground. It left us looking at nothing but clear blue sky. Then we all looked at each other in silence for a second and one of my passengers finally spoke. "Now there's you some pucker factor...." We backed up slowly and got us a good line again and then I got out and threw the winch line on a nearby tree to suck the front end down. Overall, it was a great weekend at Barnwell Mountain Recreation Area. |

Frg, I like the jack mounting. Did you use a bracket? Maybe a close up shot of the front would answer my question

Very stylish wheels. I think they indicate an advanced sense of good taste and intelligence.

Here is a link to a thread that shows exactly what I did. I copied that too.

I have been really happy with it. Easy to get to. Out of the way. And it looks ****ing cool.
![]() I am going to weld a couple of plates to my rear tire carrier to mount my axe and shovel to as well and get them down from the top. |
Just watch your rear door clearance when you mount anything to your spare tire mount. Beleave me I tried to do it in the rear. I couldn't get it to work! Oh no! can you post things like that here.

I had to pull my axe off my roof the other day and where we were at, it was a major pain in the ass.. ![]() |
