Don't use weight lifting belts when you work out.

Sorry to hear.

CO Hummer 05-03-2006 08:11 PM

I hope so. Rather go that route then run around with a tight ass nutt sling trying to hold everything in place for awhile

On a lighter note, hernia surgery has improved about 2% in comparison to 120 years ago.

MovinH2 05-03-2006 09:44 PM

Been there done that too. It sucks.

Well that guy looks pretty calm.

I had a double hernia a few years ago. Truth is, the operation is a snap, you're stiff and sore for a while, but they give you pain killers, and you know you're going to get well. And everyone brings you stuff while you're recovering.

Things could be worse.

Good luck,

George SSSS

Moonie, take a picture for us.

I had an abdominal hernia from ballet when I was younger. The recovery was the worst part, laughing and coughing brought the suck for about a week or so.

I wear one of those just to be stylish.
