Funny thing I guy from my bodybuilding site was just talking about the same thing happening to him over New Years (he has an H2 too) but he didn't get a pic.

Avalanche? How long were you parked in that spot?

wilfred 01-08-2006 08:08 AM

That's an awesome pic! I was hoping my father-in-law would have taken some pics when he was up there last week with my H2... but guess not In case you saw a yellow one with GOBI racks, that was probably my truck

Btw, i was surprised he didn't have to put chains on, did you?

Holy $hit! That is CRAZY! I have not seen snow like that in years. We get things like that maybe once every 10 years. DAMN!

hmrlvr 01-08-2006 02:30 PM

It's my buddies H2. He just shoveled his way to the door and drove it out. He said he winched numerous trucks out all the way down the hill. He had it parked there only over night. About 12 hours.

12 hours!?!? Damn. I love the mid-Atlantic.

Thats a lot of snow...im glad i dont have to put up with that. Heres my take on snow--its pretty for the first 10-15minutes, then its just cold, wet and miserable. Makes for a cool pic though

Ive seen people that go wheeling in snow but i dont know how they do it without tearing things up. I see it like mud but worse. With mud you have no idea whats at the bottom same with snow but even less knowledge of what may lay hidden in the powder.
