While trolling around Motortrend.com for info on a new SRX of ML350, I was peepin' out the Future vehicles.

There was a short article on the 2008 Jeep Compass. Check it out:

Spied: Jeep Compass

NOTE**You may need to watch a stupid ad if you're not a Motortrend subscriber. Either way, chec this part out:

"Fanatics deny that Jeep would ever allow the tank to hang so low in the rear, but welcome to a new world at the Chrysler Group, where they build Jeeps on Mitsubishi Lancer platforms."

Thought that was interesting...

Yes it is and I know somebody who has a mint one in their garage. Same color even. Have no idea why they still have it. I hear them and the gremlins are worth a little bit of money now.

Looks like a cheap version of the Isuzu Vehicross about 9 years too late!

By the looks of things from Chrysler, a "trail rated" jeep minivan isn't too far away.

X2 That would be a great shirt to wear wheeling.

Think Chrysler bought the rights for the Ford Pinto and gave it a futuristic body.
