I just realized that I have passed beyond the 500 posts required to become a “Hummer Expert.” This makes me laugh, of course, because I'm really not an expert at much of anything!

But I am grateful for the opportunity to have made friends with many I have met through this website. I have been fortunate enough to learn from most of you. I am pleased to have met some of you in person, and thrilled that I have been able to wheel with some of you. I look forward to more of that in the future.

Nah, I'm a firm believer in paying my dues. I still have a lot to learn from you, Drty, Alex and the entire gang. Which is why I'd really like to get back to Moab. I should be getting the black beauty back next week. I'm tooling around in a Nissan Pathfinder right now. It's a lot nicer than their old ones. I guess the X-terra is now their small SUV, and the Armada their big one. The Pathfinder is now their mid-size. It has some pep, and without all my rescue gear, my bicycle fits nicely in the back.

Only problem with all that zip, I am managing to keep my gas mileage right around where it is in the H2. What's up with that???

Anyway, I really want to get back out with you guys. Let's set some dates for the Moab West Coast-East Coast Face off. I get really busy with OEC classes, OEC refreshers, and On-The-Hill refreshers around that time of year.

I've not been here long, but have had a blast.... sigh... maybe someday I'll get over 100 posts...
