Yeah, the area for a dead pedal is rather small, especially in the area of the parking brake. That's probably why the opted for the vinyl pad under the parking brake. Try using that for resting your left foot, although it's not as good or as firm as a real dead pedal.

The angle of the left foot rest area does seem a bit odd, it bends my foot back. I'm thinking a dead pedal built up with a bit of thickness at the bottom would help.

I'd be willing to spend 2 or 3 dollars if someone comes up with something.

As for the dead pedal, getting back on track, I find the top of my foot hitting the bottom of the parking brake. I would like to find a way to flatten the floor out under the vinyl pad to make it a more solid feel.
