Just want to share this with future 2006 H3 owners. H3 with an auto transmission can safely tow a trailer weighing 4,500 lbs max, whereas an H3 with a manual transmission can safely tow a trailer weighing 3,000 lbs max. Seems that the A/T is a better choice for H3-ers that will do frequent trailer towing. Relevant information is on Page 4-60 thru 4-70 of the 2006 H3 owner manual.
