New front dif installed late last week. I'm feeling a little vibration (best i can descibe it) 20-30 feet after taking off from a stop. Then it goes away when you get up to speed. It also does it when you come to a stop in the same speed range.
So it's obvious something has been done wrong but any ideas what? I want to sound edumucated when I take it back in. More info: They changed both sides of the case due to the crack, but used the old insides. Can't wait to get that service survey card this time!!! |

Great, ordered it yesterday. Should be here soon. Then i'll come whine about some problem I'm having with THAT! ![]() ![]() |
Yeah I had a problem like that. I took my drive shaft out and didn't mark it. When I put it back in it was not balanced right. There is a certain postion it goes in.
|
You know that crossed my mind. My buddy (GM mechanic) is coming to install my tie rods after work today - I will have him look at it.
Thanks for the idea. |
Hit it with a hammer.
